Star Chapter Awards
|
The Star Chapter Awards provide recognition to all
chapters that meet or exceed national standards for chapter operation
and administration. Eligibility will be decided by data from
annual reports and Central Office records. To be eligible for a Star Chapter Award a chapter must have: |

* Completed at least one induction ceremony during the fiscal year of 2007-2008, ending June 30th, 2008.
* Elected
a full slate of officers for the fiscal year (one person may serve
more than one office: e.g., one person could hold the offices of both
the secretary and treasurer).
* Held a minimum of two business meetings during the fiscal year.
* Submitted both annual and financial reports postmarked on or before a special early filing date of July 15th.
* Increased number of students inducted into Delta Mu Delta over the
preceding year, or have inducted 80% or more of the eligible candidates
for the fiscal year.
* Participated in the National Scholarship Program during the
fiscal year with an application from a student at your institution
being submitted for consideration.

Star Chapters will be presented an appropriate certificate of achievement and be recognized with letters to: Dean
of the Business School/College or Dean of Students; Provost or Academic
Officer; and the President of the University. In addition, an article
will be published in the subsequent edition of The Vision, and all Star
Chapters will be recognized at the next Triennial National Meeting.
